Krysta Aguilar is a seasoned leader in homeless services with more than 15 years of progressive experience driving strategic, operational, and systems-level impact. She began her career as a street outreach worker in Southern California, where she developed a deep commitment to serving unhoused individuals and communities through direct engagement and advocacy. Over the course of her career, she has advanced into leadership roles overseeing a comprehensive continuum of programs, including emergency shelters, rapid rehousing, permanent supportive housing, prevention and diversion services, and domestic violence programs.

Dedicated to collaborative, community-centered solutions, Krysta worked closely with The Lamb Center during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping support vulnerable populations during a critical time. Inspired by the organization’s mission and impact, she later seized the opportunity to join The Lamb Center when an open position became available.

Outside of her professional work, Krysta is a devoted wife and mother of four nearly grown children. She enjoys gardening and is also an entrepreneur, operating a small salsa, sofrito, and sauce company that allows her to share cherished family recipes with her community.
