Jen came to The Lamb Center in 2017 after accepting an invitation to volunteer from Deacon Dave, where she felt an immediate connection with the mission and guests. She officially joined TLC staff as intake coordinator in July 2023. Born and raised in rural Minnesota, Jen landed in Northern Virginia  working as a congressional aide. Jen majored in Political Science and German at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and completed a Master’s Degree in Social Work at George Mason University. When she’s not at The Lamb Center, Jen can be found experimenting in the kitchen, camping with her Girl Scout troop, or driving her teenagers to and from various activities.
