Jen joined The Lamb Center in 2017 after accepting an invitation from Deacon Dave to volunteer. She developed a strong connection to TLC’s mission and the guests it serves and officially joined the staff as Intake Coordinator in July 2023. Prior to joining The Lamb Center, Jen worked in the U.S. House of Representatives and later spent 10 years at home while remaining actively involved in her community through volunteer service, including with Girl Scouts, the National Association of Social Workers and her church. 

As Intake Coordinator and Case Management Administrator, Jen oversees the daily case management team and supports the delivery of person-centered, trauma-informed services to guests experiencing homelessness. She connects guests with housing, benefits, health care, and other community resources and works collaboratively with community partners to help guests access the support they need. A particular area of focus for Jen is building trusting relationships with individuals who may be hesitant to engage with services, creating opportunities for connection and support at a pace that respects each guest’s circumstances and goals. She values the opportunity to hear guests’ stories, recognize their strengths, and work alongside them as they identify goals and develop plans for moving forward. 

Jen holds a Master of Social Work degree from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in German and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. Outside of The Lamb Center, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and exploring new places with her family.
