Sierra grew up in Fairfax, Virginia. She earned a MA in English Literature and a BS in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University. Prior to joining The Lamb Center, Sierra worked in nonprofit communications, including at Equal Justice USA, where she supported efforts to advance a more restorative and community-centered approach to justice. She enjoys writing poetry, weightlifting, and serving her local community.
