Debbi Tinkham brings more than 15 years of experience working in both the private and nonprofit sectors, with a background in community engagement, volunteer programs, project management, and strategic planning. She enjoys bringing people and organizations together around work that makes a difference in the community.
As Development Manager at The Lamb Center, Debbi works to connect churches, companies, schools, and individuals to the mission of supporting guests experiencing homelessness. Her commitment to the organization began in 2022, when she started as a weekly volunteer in the laundry program, a role she continues to serve in alongside her professional responsibilities.
Prior to joining The Lamb Center, Debbi served as Director of Community Service and Philanthropy at the Corporate Executive Board, later acquired by Gartner. She built the company’s community service program from the ground up, developing partnerships with nonprofits throughout the DMV and managing more than 70 pro bono consulting projects that connected CEB employees with organizations in need of their expertise. Earlier in her career, Debbi served as Chief of Staff for the Finance and Legal Practices business unit, where she worked across staffing, budgeting, and strategic priorities. Debbi’s involvement in homelessness services in the DMV area spans more than two decades, beginning at Miriam’s Kitchen in Washington, D.C.
Debbi earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from James Madison University, with a second major in Political Science and a minor in Economics.
