Jeanine Montgomery is a board-facing financial executive with more than 35 years of public company leadership experience across technology, software/SaaS, geospatial intelligence, analytics, telecommunications, and services. She currently serves as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Strategy Inc. (formerly MicroStrategy), the publicly traded enterprise analytics company recognized as the world’s first and largest Bitcoin Treasury company, where she leads global accounting operations across more than 27 countries and partners closely with the Board and Audit Committee on governance, financial reporting, and risk oversight. At Strategy, she designed and oversees the accounting, disclosure, and control framework supporting one of the world’s largest corporate Bitcoin holdings, and plays a key role in the company’s multi-billion-dollar capital markets activities. Previously, Jeanine held senior finance and chief accounting officer roles at GeoEye, DigitalGlobe, Beacon Roofing Supply, and USA Mobility. She earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Virginia, is a Certified Public Accountant, and is qualified to serve as an Audit Committee financial expert. Jeanine’s governance experience includes serving as a Board member and Finance Committee member of Shelter House, Inc., bringing firsthand knowledge of the local homelessness and affordable housing landscape to her work. She is an active member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Vienna, where she serves as Treasurer, and brings a pragmatic, governance-focused perspective along with a heart for financial stewardship and shareholder — and community — transparency.
