Laura Woody joins The Lamb Center as the Interim Director of Case Management in August of 2023. She started her career as a street outreach worker almost 20 years ago and has worked primarily in homeless services and community mental health for her entire career. Most recently Laura worked at Shelter House as the Chief Program Officer, where she supported the organization’s entire portfolio of programs. Laura was born and raised in the Midwest, where she received both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Social Work. She has lived in Fairfax City for nearly 10 years and she attends a local non-denominational church with her family.
