Candice has provided residential support to vulnerable persons with disabilities for the last 10 years. She obtained her bachelors and master’s degree from Morgan State University’s School of Social Work. Candice fell in love with homeless services in Fairfax County in May of 2016. She started as a case manager with Facets’ Supportive Housing Programs and transitioned into a senior case manager in 2018. In May of 2019, she transitioned to become New Hope Housing’s Director of Fairfax Permanent Supportive Housing. Candice enjoys being a SuperUser to support her teammates with best practices in data collection to end homelessness. Candice now supports the Lamb Center in Permanent Housing Stabilization to assist guests with maintaining housing. She feels that it is God’s calling for her to serve those in need.  When she is not working, she loves being with her family and exploring new adventures.
