Important Reminder: Donate with Dignity

We gratefully accept gently used, clean clothing in good condition. Please note we cannot accept items that are stained, torn, pilled, or damaged (including missing buttons or broken zippers).

We do not wash donated items, so please ensure they’re ready to wear. If you wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing it outside your home, please don’t donate it.

Your thoughtful donations help our guests feel valued and respected — thank you for giving with dignity!

  • Wool overcoats & fur coats - anything that is dry clean only
  • Infant or children’s clothing, toys, accessories, etc.
  • Bedding, linens, curtains, etc.
  • Anything stained, torn, damaged, or pilled, or with missing buttons, broken zippers, etc. If you would not be seen outside the house wearing it, do not expect our guests to wear it. Donate with dignity!

Donate A Car

Interested in donating your car? The Lamb Center refers individuals interested in donating vehicles to The Car Ministry. Their mission is to help those facing extreme poverty to obtain auto transportation. Donated vehicles must run well and pass Virginia safety and emission tests before they are given.

Donate Furniture & Household Items

Interested in donating furniture and household items? The Lamb Center refers individuals interested in donating these items to Gracing Spaces.

Gracing Spaces, a ministry of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Clifton, VA, furnishes apartments for families transitioning out of homeless shelters. They work with various non-profit organizations in the community to identify individuals in need of the basics of living. They "Grace" each space with furniture, beds, kitchen items, pictures, shower curtains, rugs, bedspreads and more to make an apartment a home.
