COUNSELING

Counseling is our core program and encompasses spiritual, psychological, life and employment dimensions. We partner with local groups and organizations who have a passion for serving the homeless. We help them to:

Scenario1

SEEK GOD’S PLAN

We offer Bible Studies twice every day at 10:30am and 1:30pm to help guests seek God’s plan for their lives.

Scenario1

DEAL WITH ADDICTIONS

We desire people to come to grips with addictions and mental issues and seek treatment.

Scenario1

OVERCOME OBSTACLES

We help guests determine issues that are obstacles to living a life of wholeness.

Scenario1

FIND EMPLOYMENT

We help guests prepare for, train and seek employment skills and jobs so they can be self sustaining.

“Dear Lord, thank you for the good night’s sleep last night. After sleeping on the hard concrete floor of a jail cell, or, out in the woods for over 3 years, it was a treat to sleep on clean sheets with a pillow on my bed at an Oxford House. Thank you for the job out in Maryland and the fact that my “to do” list has become my “to done” list! This morning was the first time I’ve awakened without coughing up a fur ball from the rough jail blankets that have covered me from the past. Thank you God!”
