To end homelessness by transforming lives through Christian spirituality,counseling and service.

To carry out its mission, The Lamb Center focuses on proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and action to poor, hurting and homeless people in our community and to love them and serve them as Jesus would do.

Our Organization

The Board of Directors provides policy, management and financial oversight.

The Lamb Center Staff consists of:

Our Programs and Services

Counseling is our core program and encompasses spiritual, psychological, life and employment dimensions. Guests are encouraged to:

  • Seek God's plan for their lives
  • Come to grips with addictions and mental issues and seek treatment
  • Determine issues that are obstacles to living a life of  wholeness
  • To prepare for, train and seek employment skills and jobs to self sustain them
Complementing our counseling programs are the following services provided without cost to guests.
These include:
  • Hot meals, showers, laundry
  • Mail, message, telephone and computer services
  • ID card and document recovery
  • Metro tokens and cards
  • Haircuts
  • Resume help
  • Court appearances on behalf of guests
 
  • Medical referrals and prescription aid
  • Dental and optical referrals
  • Social Security pension/disability assistance
  • Tax preparation
  • Base of operations for medical, mental health, addiction, veterans specialists
  • AA meetings
